Shop for Jobs

Shop for Jobs is a unique project undertaken to promote retail as a positive career choice.

The main objective of the project is to assist retailers recruit and retain quality staff to reduce the shortfall in skill requirements in the industry.

There are 2 main functions of Shop for Jobs

1. A recruitment service to retailers
2. Training services

to assist retailers with qualifications to develop their staff
to allow those who want to gain qualifications before entering work to do so
to allow those in work to gain qualifications for doing the job they already do

The project relies heavily on the strong partnerships made with external organisations, some of which fund different elements of the project.
